The Akrapovič Sound Kit (Valve Controller) lets owners of the BMW M5 & M5 Competition (F90) control the sound of their Akrapovič exhaust from inside the car, switching between a quiet mode and a sportier sound.

Cockpit-Controlled Sound

The Evolution system's existing receiver drives the actuators that open and close the valves at the end of the exhaust system, controlled via the Akrapovič Sound Remote Controller. Fitting this optional Sound Kit means ECE type approval is no longer valid.
